Beers
Zundert 8 and 10 are authentic Trappist beers. A beer is only a Trappist beer if it is brewed within the walls of a Trappist abbey, under the responsibility of the monks. We brew beer to provide for our livelihood and the maintenance of our domain.
Brewery
Our abbey has a modern brewery in which two friars brew Zundert Trappist together with an external brewmaster. The brewery is classically set up with a brewing kettle, lauter tun and boiling kettle.
History
A beer is only a Trappist beer if it is brewed within the walls of a Trappist abbey, under the responsibility of the monks. There are only a limited number of Trappist breweries worldwide, two of which are located in the Netherlands.
